MANU MACAW CLAY LICK (6D/5N)

Manú National Park (Parque Nacional del Manu) is a biosphere reserve located in Madre de Dios and Paucartambo, Cusco. Before becoming an area protected by the Peruvian government, the Manú National Park was conserved thanks to its inaccessibility. The park remains fairly inaccessible by road to this day. In 1977, UNESCO recognised it as a Biosphere Reserve and in 1987, it was pronounced a World Heritage Site. It is the largest National Park in Peru, covering an area of 15,328 km².

DAY 01 CUSCO – PILCOPATA
06:00Hr. pick you up from your hotel, our trip is crossing the high mountains to the village folk Paucartambo typical and the course of our journey we visit the pre Inca cultural Ninamarka likewise reaching the top of mountains and jungle where Acjanaco des descend into the Manu National Park and the lush cloud forest will be our lunch and a small walk and then continue our journey back to the highest point of Acjanaco, where the people will descend Cloud Forest where we will observe the National bird Peru. Cock of the Rocks, trogons and different varieties of animals such as monkeys, birds, medicinal plants, flowers. Pilcopata to arrive in the afternoon and spend the night in a shelter.

DAY 02 COCA-LODGE PLANTATION
This day after breakfast we will bound the river port of Atalaya and over we stop to appreciate varieties of crops and then appreciate the viewpoint where the dense vegetation of the Amazon jungle and the Alto Madre de Dios river, reaching Atalaya we board our motorized boat bound for the natural hot springs where we bathe and in the course we will see, beautiful landscapes, animals and many birds on the river banks. We come to Bonanza (platform) where we walk in the jungle for several hours stopping to survey the jungle camp in tents.

DAY 03 LODGE – EXPEDITION.
This day we scan the forest, carrying Our food, to the limit of the Manu National Park and in the course appreciate varieties of animals like the tapir, peccary, squirrels, monkeys and birds like eagles, catch flies and plant varieties medicinal flowers, giant trees and return to afternoon to camp to sleep in our camp.

DAY 04 EXPEDITION – MACAW CLAY LICK.
This day we travel down the river Madre de Dios powered motor to the native community of Diamante. And appreciate the lifestyle. And then continue to Boca Manu where we will also have the opportunity to make purchases of beer, chocolates, insect repellent, and then continue on to Whitey and walk in the jungle and visit the beautiful lake and sail on a catamaran for the capture of alligators and appreciate wildlife and the beautiful sunset of the jungle. In blanquillos Lodge.

DAY 05 Clay lick macaw – LODGE.
This day we will wake up very early to see the macaw clay lick, eating minerals, then make the return to the port of Boca Manu. Where we have free time and in the afternoon we visit a beautiful lake in a catamaran and appreciate the wildlife, and at night to catch the caiman Arriving at the lodge the option of camping on the edge of the river Madre de Dios in tents.

DAY 06 LODGE – CUSCO RETURNS
Breakfast, the return on our boat to Atalaya then bus to Cusco via Paucartambo Cloud Forest and arrive at night 19:00 hours. END OUR SERVICES.
