  • Bring mineral water
  • Bring sunscreen
  • Machu Picchu is located in the jungle; In other words, it has a warm but at the same time humid climate, so the type of clothing that we recommend using is:
  • If you travel to Machu Picchu during the rainy season (November – April), the best option is to bring a raincoat as well as water and wind resistant clothing
  • Even if it’s hot in the morning, always carry a warm garment with you. It can be annoying to have to carry it during the visit to Machu Picchu, but it is better to be prepared for the afternoon wind
  • Polo shirts and / or shirts with long sleeves (preferably) to avoid insect bites and / or annoying burns on the tours to Machu Picchu
  • Cap and sunglasses. A light, comfortable cap will keep you cool. The lenses will allow you to appreciate all the beauty of Machu Picchu without having to strain your eyes
